Winter Routes

The annual Winter Moose Day in Vedauwoo / Happy Jack and the Snowy Mountains is held each January! If you love to ski and snowshoe in the beautiful forests outside of Laramie, and love spotting moose or thier tracks in the snow, this event is for you.

Winter Event Routes

The routes below are those you can sign up to survey for Winter Moose Day. Not many of the routes are on actual trails - but you'll be able to follow Forest Service roads or the creek bed for the entire route.

Winter Moose Day is Saturday, February 16th. 

Route sign-up will open early January. Stay tuned for training dates.
